Night City Walks

Born in Zatec, the Czech Republic, in 1947. His residential address alternates between Prague and Liberec.

Besides figurative life drawing and landscape motives he has recently adapted a new style - monochromatic technique where he plays with lights and shadows to create a mysterious world of everlasting twilight. Old bending streets, nooks and squares are seemingly empty - behind the closed windows people live their intimate lives. Warm lights of street lamps silently fall onto facades and cobblestone streets. Brown hues calm our soul.

In the last ten years the author has held exhibitions in Liberec, Praha, Italy, Germany and USA. Some of his paintings are in possession of private collectors and corporate businesses.
